Actress Go Hye-sun has sparked controversy for wearing a hat during a recent broadcast.
On the 15th, MBC's "Radio Star" aired a special titled "My Second Act, Clear," with Go Hye-sun, Choo Shin-soo, Kwak Si-yang, and Yoon Nam-no making guest appearances.
While other guests appeared neat and tidy, Go Hye-sun showed up with her long hair down and wearing a hat. She explained, "I brought a lot of oil blotting papers for filming."
She continued, "I have very acne-prone skin, and if I don’t use oil blotting papers, my makeup melts off, so I use more than 10 sheets a day."
Regarding her decision to wear a hat during the recording, she revealed, "I was going to wash my hair today, but the boiler broke, so I couldn't wash my hair, and that's why I wore the hat."
She also shared, "The PD suggested I take off the hat for the recording, but right now I just can't."
In response, Kim Gura expressed concern, saying, "What will we do with your hair if it's oily and you didn't wash it?"
After the broadcast, many viewers online voiced criticism of Go Hye-sun’s attitude. Some viewers labeled it "disrespectful," while others defended her, stating that wearing a hat is her personal choice.
In response to the growing controversy, Go Hye-sun posted on her SNS on the 16th, "The hat is my freedom. Here’s my hat collection," along with several photos, sharing her thoughts.
