Lee Kwang-soo and Do Kyung-soo welcomed new guests on their show.

In the second episode of tvN's Kong Kong Bap Bap (translated as "When Beans Are Planted, Beans Grow, and When You Eat, You Get Strength"), which aired on January 16, SEVENTEEN paid a surprise visit to the cafeteria run by Lee Kwang-soo and Do Kyung-soo, offering glowing reviews of the food.

The members of SEVENTEEN were unanimous in praising the quality of the food, commenting, "It’s good. It’s delicious." Lee Kwang-soo asked, “Is there anything you’d like to eat? Do you like the side dishes?” and proactively inquired, “Would you prefer something simple?”

Upon hearing feedback from the Three Meals a Day team, Lee Kwang-soo joked, “Is this how you normally speak? I’m an entertainer too,” feeling a little hurt.

Meanwhile, after receiving a phone call, the production team hurriedly left, heading toward a location where SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi, Wonwoo, and Woozi arrived.

Wonwoo and Hoshi explained, "We came here after hearing about the cafeteria while we were in town for a live performance yesterday."

Woozi added, "They told me to come eat, so I came."

SEVENTEEN was intrigued by the unfamiliar menu item called ‘Mashed Potato Doenjang Jjigae’ (fermented soybean paste stew). The encounter with "real celebrities" left Lee Kwang-soo and Do Kyung-soo astonished.

Do Kyung-soo revealed that he knew Woozi, while Hoshi and Wonwoo shared that they grew up watching EXO and performed their songs as trainees.

Na Young-seok, the producer, remarked, “Is this what Do Kyung-soo was like?” humorously referencing the past of the program’s director.

Na Young-seok was surprised by Woozi’s large serving of rice, asking, “Isn’t that a bit too much?” Hoshi then pondered, “Should we come back for lunch tomorrow?”

Na Young-seok expressed hope, saying, “I hope this place becomes a popular spot for SEVENTEEN.” Woozi added, “Kyung-soo is good at cooking, right?” and took on the task of adding more food to the plates.

Lee Kwang-soo, watching them eat a second round, felt a strange sense of satisfaction and commented on Woozi’s unique review of the mashed potato’s texture.

Lee Kwang-soo encouraged them, “Come back often and eat here.” Meanwhile, Do Kyung-soo promoted the cafeteria, saying, “Please leave a review through the QR code. There’s a review event.”

Wonwoo jokingly said, “If 13 people eat, one might win something,” expressing hope for a prize.

Na Young-seok responded, “Be honest with your reviews. You can say nice things to my face, but…” At that moment, Lee Kwang-soo presented Shine Muscat grapes, prepared in a unique way, drawing laughter from everyone.

As food ingredients ran low, Lee Kwang-soo and Do Kyung-so resorted to preparing ramen for their meal.

Do Kyung-soo laughed, saying, “At this point, anything would taste good,” while Na Young-seok humorously remarked, “While others are grilling meat, you guys are eating ramen. That’s so sad.”

After finishing their meal, Hoshi, Wonwoo, and Woozi praised the food, saying, “It was so delicious. We tried to be critical, but it was really tasty. It’s been a while since we had a home-cooked meal.”

Kong Kong Bap Bap airs every Thursday at 8:45 PM on tvN. The show, a spin-off of Kong Kong Pat Pat, follows Lee Kwang-soo and Do Kyung-soo as they run a cafeteria, providing viewers with a lighthearted glimpse into their lives.
