NewJeans member Hyein recently reflected on her journey from before debut to the present. On January 16, she appeared as a guest on the channel 'Dazed Korea,' sharing her thoughts and experiences.

Hyein began by discussing the moments and activities that have left a lasting impression on her since her trainee days. She mentioned, "I joined the group as the last trainee. One of the most memorable moments for me was when I first saw the older members. They looked so beautiful, angelic, and kind, with a pure vibe." She added, "It was meaningful to prepare together for a common goal, living and practicing as a team."

The second keyword was 'summer.' Hyein shared, "We debuted on July 22. When we debuted, we gathered at our dorm and watched the 'Attention' music video together. Even at that time, I realized how precious that moment was."

The third keyword was 'winter.' Hyein recalled, "When I think of winter, the first thing that comes to mind is 'Ditto.' It was winter, but it felt really warm. It was our second comeback, and the music video had so many stories in it. Ban Hee Soo appeared in the video, and it was our first comeback featuring 'Bunnies' (fans). It felt so meaningful to prepare for this comeback alongside our fans."

Next, Hyein mentioned 'people' as the fourth keyword, saying, "Looking back, I've realized how many wonderful and great adults I've had around me. I've especially felt this recently." She added, "The relationship with Bunnies feels so special. I want to meet them more often, talk to them, and get closer, but there are many reasons why I can't. Still, I find it amazing that they continue to support us."

Meanwhile, NewJeans is currently in a dispute with their agency, ADOR, over their exclusive contract. NewJeans claims that the contract has been terminated, while ADOR has filed a lawsuit with the Seoul Central District Court to confirm the validity of the exclusive contract.
