On January 16th, BLACKPINK's Jennie took to her Instagram Story to share heartfelt messages of gratitude to her fellow members, Jisoo and Rosé, on her birthday. She re-shared posts from Jisoo and Rosé’s social media accounts, writing “Alub Jisoo ♥” and “Thank you my sweet sweet rosieposie” in response to their kind birthday messages.

However, Jennie did not publicly respond to or mention Lisa, which caught attention. Lisa had only posted casual pictures from her daily life on her own social media and did not specifically wish Jennie a happy birthday.

Meanwhile, Jennie recently announced through Billboard that she would be releasing her solo debut album. Billboard shared that the album would allow fans to discover and experience Jennie's true self.

Jennie had previously released her solo track “Mantra” in October of last year, which achieved success by charting on the Billboard Hot 100 for two consecutive weeks.
