Lee Sang-soon and Lee Hyori showcased their unchanged affection for each other after 13 years of marriage, winning everyone’s admiration.
On the 16th, Lee Hyori joined her husband, Lee Sang-soon, on his radio show, MBC FM4U’s Perfect Day Lee Sang-soon (also known as Perfect Day), where they shared their love story.
During the broadcast, Lee Sang-soon mentioned that Lee Hyori listens to his radio show every day, to which Lee Hyori replied, “It’s great because I can check on how my husband is doing at work from home.” She expressed her deep affection for him.
Lee Sang-soon added, “It’s been almost two months since I started this radio show,” to which Lee Hyori humorously responded, “It’s been two months since I’ve been cooking meals every day,” expressing her respect for housewives. She laughed while explaining that choosing menus had been quite difficult.
She also mentioned that since she has big hands, controlling portion sizes was a challenge, recalling how she once bought 40 fish, and over three trips, ended up with 160 fish in total.
Lee Sang-soon joked, saying, “One side dish would be enough,” to which Lee Hyori responded, “I try to make one more side dish, but he says ‘one is enough,’ so I feel ‘lonely,’” making Lee Sang-soon smile.
Lee Sang-soon then asked his wife about her thoughts on his DJ skills, specifically whether she had noticed any improvement. Lee Hyori said, “Originally, my husband isn’t dramatic; he has a calm vibe,” adding, “What I love about him is that he hasn’t changed, both in life and as a DJ. He hasn’t really changed, and I think listeners will love that steady approach.”
Later, a listener complimented Lee Sang-soon’s outfit and asked if Lee Hyori had styled him. Lee Hyori explained, “No, he’s always conscious of what I’m wearing when he goes out,” and laughed, saying, “When I dress up, he also takes out clothes to match.”
Lee Sang-soon responded, “I don’t want to feel inferior,” making them both laugh. Lee Hyori then sweetly added, “No matter what he wears, he looks good,” creating a warm and affectionate atmosphere between the couple.
