BLACKPINK's Jisoo has announced her solo comeback in February.
On the 13th, Jisoo surprised fans by releasing a "coming soon" teaser on her agency BLISSOO's official SNS at 6 PM, hinting at her new solo album.
The teaser video features a motion of a lie detector moving, followed by the date "FEBRUARY 14" and Jisoo's name, leaving a strong impression.
According to the announcement, Jisoo will release her second solo album and make her comeback on February 14. This will be her first album since her solo debut single "꽃 (FLOWER)" released in March 2023, and it marks the debut release from her own agency, BLISSOO, which adds to the anticipation.
"꽃 (FLOWER)" was a global success, ranking 6th on Spotify, 38th on the UK Official Singles Chart, 1st on iTunes in 57 countries worldwide, and 1st on global YouTube Song and Music Video Charts, proving Jisoo's strength as a solo artist.
As a member of the global girl group BLACKPINK and an all-around artist who has captivated fans worldwide, Jisoo is expected to showcase her unique identity through high-quality music and performances in her upcoming album.
Jisoo will also star as Yeojoo in the Coupang Play original drama Newtopia, which will be released on February 7.
Jisoo's solo album will be available on all online music platforms on February 14, and further details, including the album title, will be announced later.
