On January 16th, Chosun Biz revealed Telegram conversation logs between Min Hee-jin, former CEO of ADOR, and A, a family member of NewJeans member Hani.
According to the report, A sent a message to Min Hee-jin on September 14th of last year saying, "The Ministry of Employment and Labor has started. Please give me a call." Min Hee-jin replied, "I am receiving an IV drip right now. I will call you in the afternoon."
This conversation occurred shortly after fans filed a complaint with the Ministry of Employment and Labor, following Hani's revelation that she had been subjected to workplace harassment. On September 11th, during a YouTube live broadcast, Hani had claimed that a manager at the HYBE building told her to "ignore" other celebrities and managers.
As a result, multiple fans submitted complaints to the Ministry of Employment and Labor, and the conversation between A and Min Hee-jin is suspected to be related to discussions about the complaint. This raises serious concerns about Min Hee-jin's involvement, and the allegations are unlikely to die down anytime soon.
In addition to this, Min Hee-jin is also facing tampering allegations. According to multiple reports, in August and September of last year, Min Hee-jin met with Park Jeong-gyu, the chairman of external investor DaboLink, to discuss a potential 5 billion KRW investment. During these meetings, they are said to have discussed the possibility of bringing NewJeans under DaboLink.
