Actor Moon Hyuk’s current situation was revealed.

On the January 16th episode of MBN's Special Feature World, the current life of Moon Hyuk, who made his debut as a child actor at the age of 4, was shared.

During the show, Jeong Hee-kyung, who had just returned from a mountain trip, said, "This is my house. Want to take a look? This is where I live." She added, "I travel across the country about 300 days a year. When I get home, I pack a bag and leave again. Since no one is home, I just leave it empty. I live here, but it’s not like I’m always here."

Jeong Hee-kyung explained that the reason she started traveling was because her mental health deteriorated. She shared that during a difficult period in her life, she started traveling to survive.

She also revealed, "I got married at 21. I became a mother. I split up with my husband a long time ago. I raised two sons, and I worked myself to the bone. I did hard labor, became a Yakult manager, and worked as a restaurant server before I started my own business. I also worked as a delivery rider for a while. Now, after four years of 'car camping,' I cry less. I used to cry all the time."

Jeong Hee-kyung also shared a tough story about her battle with cancer, saying, "One day I was diagnosed with cancer. I was working two jobs, living hard, and then I had to go through eight rounds of chemotherapy and 28 radiation treatments. It felt like living in prison, filled with pain every day. I couldn't stop crying, thinking, 'Why me? I’ve been struggling since I was 20. Why is this happening to me?'"

She spoke of her sadness and frustration, especially after losing her father to lung cancer, and the shock of her own diagnosis.

Jeong Hee-kyung’s younger brother, who also had cancer, was mentioned, and she expressed her sorrow for him. She said, "When I heard that my brother was diagnosed with cancer, it was even more shocking than when I was diagnosed myself. I was more sad for him than I was for myself."

Reflecting on her life, Jeong Hee-kyung stated, "I’ve lived without shame, and now I’ve let go of all my desires. I want to live positively, laugh, and continue living with hope."

The show also featured Moon Hyuk, who had acted as a child actor in Our Glorious Days.

Moon Hyuk, now preparing for his delivery job, said, "I’m getting ready to be a delivery rider, so I layered up because it’s so cold." He explained, "This is a battery for my electric scooter. It’s like the gas tank." After receiving a delivery call, he rushed out, leaving the crew surprised by his speed.

During a break in deliveries, Moon Hyuk shared how the pandemic affected his work, saying, "When COVID-19 hit, everything, including performances and projects, came to a halt. I had to take up many part-time jobs to support myself."

Reflecting on his past as a child actor, Moon Hyuk said, "When I was active as a child actor, I would sometimes miss school for days, sometimes even an entire semester. During my peak, I shot dramas every week—weekday or weekend dramas."

Moon Hyuk also opened up about the hardships he faced after his engagement was broken off, saying, "I had been preparing for my wedding, but we broke off the engagement. The shock from that experience made me feel very down and isolated. For about three years, I struggled. One time, I looked up and realized I was standing on Mapo Bridge, even though I had been at home watching TV just moments before. I was in shock."

He expressed that his dream was to become a good husband and father, but after the broken engagement, that dream felt shattered. He reflected that those were the hardest times in his life, as his body also began to deteriorate.
